wo jinki zaat maiN pinhaaN mizaaj hain kaisay
na-janay hum peh mehr'baan aaj haiN kaisay
shabana rooz musafat keh baad raaz khulla
hamaray peroon maiN khiltay khiraaj haiN kaisay

tu hai shikhar -Jagjit Singh

neele neele aasmaa me tu hai,
naazo si kaliyon me tu hai,
dharti ki halchal me tu hai,
jeevan ke har pal me tu hai,
hey ishwar tu jaane yahaan kya hai kiska shikhar

sooraj ki garmi me tu hai,
hawaayon ki narmi me tu hai,
behate huye jharno me tu hai,
panchhi ki udaano me tu hai,
haan sab dhoondhte hain yahaan apna apna shikhar,
hey ishwar tu jaane yahaan kya hai kiska shikhar.

anand ki har saans tu hai,
pal pal ki ik aas tu hai,
sab door hai paas tu hai,
jag dhoop hai chhanv tu hai,
hum pehchaane kaise niraakaar tera shikhar,
hey ishwar tu jaane yahaan kya hai kiska shikhar.
hey ishwar tu hai sabki raahon ka saccha shikhar

shoR sa aik haR aik simt bapaa lagta hai
wo khamoshi hai k lamha b sadaa lagta hai

kitna saakat nazaR aa'ta hia hawaoon ka badaN

Have You ever loved someone
But knew they didn't care?
Have You ever felt like crying
But Knew you'd get no where?

Have you ever looked into their eyes
And said a little prayer?
Have you ever looked into their hearts
And wished that you were there?

Have you ever felt their heartbeat,
When the lights were turned down low?
Have you ever whispered "God, I love You"
But you'll never let me show?

Love is grand, yet it hurts so much.
The price you pay is high.
